Jan 30-31, Feb 1 2026 Galway Bay Irish Pub, Restaurant, & Gifts brings back its celebration of Irish Music in a new direction as we explore the Irish influence in Appalachian, Bluegrass, Cowboy, Country, and Cavalry music.

Galway Bay Irish Pub, Restaurant, & Gifts is proud to present its Appalachian, Bluegrass, Cowboy, Country, and Cavalry Music Festival (ABC3).
January 30th. January 31st, Feb 1, 2026.

This festival will highlight a diverse mix of Appalachian, Bluegrass, Cowboy, Country, and Cavalry artists during this 3-day event, taking place exclusively at Galway Bay Irish Pub, Restaurant, & Gifts.

Hank Cramer Solo
Hank Cramer is one of the best-loved folksingers in the American West.
He is widely known for his booming bass voice, smooth picking on a
vintage flat-top guitar, and his wry sense of humor. He has a repertoire
of over a thousand modern and traditional songs, spanning the genres of
Celtic, Appalachian, maritime, cowboy, and plain old folk music. He is
more than simply a performer, however. He is a historian and educator
who weaves music and history into presentations which bring to life the
rich story of America’s westward movement. Hank gives his audiences
insight into the “folk process” by which traditional songs evolve and
change to describe new events.

Dysfunction Junction 5pc Bluegrass Band
Formed in 2005 from musicians meeting at a weekly bluegrass jam in
Seattle, Dysfunction Junction is Seattle's premier traditional bluegrass band,
playing hundreds of shows in Washington, Oregon and Canada over the
last 15 years. The band's core members formulate a unique sound that is
undeniably authentic bluegrass and distinctly Pacific Northwest. The
band also draws from a deep well of local musical talent, utilizing
accomplished substitutes to fill in when needed. With a massive 12+
hour repertoire covering genres of traditional bluegrass, country, gospel,
Irish, folk, classic rock and blues.

Caleb & Walter 3-5pc Country Swing Band
Our repertoire is a combination of classic country artists like Hank
Williams, Harlan Howard, Lefty Frizzell, and Willie Nelson as well as
Americana greats like Woody Guthrie, Maybelle Carter, Bob Dylan and
John Phillips. We also sprinkle in our own renditions of soul artists like
Solomon Burke and more modern artists like The Violent Femmes to
provide a spanning array of American cultural music. And, of course, we
blend in our original material which is heavily influenced by the above
stated artists.

Carter Junction 2pc Americana Band
Carter Junction is the husband-wife duo of Clinton and Sarah Carter.
Based in Idaho, Carter Junction performs an inspiring blend of
Americana, Folk, Country, Cowboy, and Celtic music. Their storytelling
through music captivates audiences, taking them on a journey through
the heart of the American West and the spirited traditions of Celtic
music.

Green Watermelons 4pc Bluegrass Band
The Green Watermelons are a quirky, rootsy bluegrass band based in
Tacoma, Washington, known for their playful name and spirited
performances that blend traditional string-band energy with modern
storytelling. They’ve carved out a niche in the Pacific Northwest’s
acoustic scene through local gigs, festival appearances, and community
events.

Paul Steuermann Solo Cowboy Poet
Paul Steuermann is a respected figure in the cowboy poetry community,
celebrated for his evocative storytelling and deep connection to Western
heritage. Steuermann has been featured in anthologies and gatherings
that highlight the enduring spirit of cowboy poets—those who blend
frontier grit with lyrical reflection.
